Follow The Leader, Josh Cope

Have you heard of Josh Cope?

When Josh was in his early 20s, he did what many young guys do at that age: have fun, party and chase girls.

Then he decided to get serious about the future. Today, still in his mid-20s, Josh is an excellent teacher and seven figure earner. In fact, a lot of what I’m learning about in Internet marketing is directly from Josh himself.

I’ve spoken to him personally and he’s as real and giving as they come. I can’t say enough about his teaching style, his stories and what it takes to be a successful Internet marketer – and it’s not about working 80 hours a week!

I’ve done 100s of webinars in my career and without a doubt it is the best way to get the information you need before deciding on your next steps.

A Quick How-To Video for Beginners

Remember that story a few years ago about a lady who was essentially made an example of when she pirated music from the web? This middle class woman was fined $220,000!

She wasn’t the only one, the Feds caught more people and fined them astronomical amounts too. For quick reference, you can check out the story here.

Obviously no one wants to be caught for piracy. If you want to avoid such hassles when posting images on your website or blog, I posted a quick video. Also, I’ve been using a search engine regularly for the last 2-3 years and it isn’t Google or Bing.

Check out my quick video tutorial on how to post re-usable images so you don’t get into trouble here.

Hope it helps.

Your Email Mistakes

That may be a harsh headline but there is a method to the madness as you read on….the photo doesn’t necessarily reflect my political leanings either, hell, I don’t even have a dog in the fight. I’m Canadian eh?

However, I do have leanings towards entrepreneurs who have achieved success by having the right mindset and working hard. One such person I follow is Lewis Howes. He was a former professional football player in the arena league and he was living the life. Then he suffered a career-ending injury that had him on his sister’s couch for a year and a half, feeling sorry for himself.

A Story About Never Giving Up

***For privacy reasons the name and occupations have been changed***

I was having dinner with a friend last night, he’d just accepted a head nursing position at a mental health institute, located about 2 hours north of Toronto.

Although Dave’s larger story is very sad on the surface, it is special. It’s special because it’s about the human spirit and how we can overcome. Statistically, most people would have just thrown in the towel and who knows what else.

Not Dave.

As God as my witness, I never thought I would say these words: My daughter is a wrestler. But she is and she’s damn good at it, training hard, winning tournaments and loving the sport.

Women, Network Marketing and Facebook

By Coach Roger

Most people who start in a network marketing or home based business are on a tight budget. Considering you might spend $300-$600 every month in marketing dollars, you want to make money quickly.

The question then becomes how do you maximize the budget you do have, even if you’re starting from zero? More and more MLM companies suggest marketing directly to other network marketers, a great idea. The logic being these people already understand the concept of leverage, they have bought into the network marketing business model and have already proven they are buyers.

But if everyone markets to the same demographic, does that share of the pie become too small? The answer: Absolutely not! There’s room for us all, folks.

Being Lazy And Winning With Your Marketing

By Coach Roger

Robert A. Heinlein, considered by many as the dean of science fiction writers said, “Progress isn’t made by early risers. It’s made by lazy men trying to find easier ways to do something.”

Bill Gates echoed the same sentiment, saying he would rather hire lazy people to do difficult jobs because they would find an easier way to get it done.

Is Your Website Mobile Friendly? Check Here

By Coach Roger

By Coach Roger

If you have a business, is your website mobile friendly? The technical term is “responsive” meaning if you view it from a smartphone, will it be visually readable or is the text so small you’re squinting your eyes? If your site isn’t responsive, why not?

Here’s why it’s so important: According to Google, more than 80% of us access the Internet from our phones. In fact, Entrepreneur Magazine echoes that with numbers, stating over a billion people access the Internet from a mobile device. You may be reading this from your smartphone right now.

So if the majority of us are within close reach of our phones and if your website isn’t responsive, think of how much business you could potentially be losing. It’s worth getting that fixed.

Here is a way to check if your site is responsive and if not, how to fix it for free. Check it out here.

Stop Babying Your Downline

By Coach Roger

By Coach Roger

If you’re in a network marketing deal you know what happens when you recruit people, right? Some go nuts and start building their business, others waffle about and do nothing. In fact, most people do nothing.

So what do some of us do? We call them, we encourage them, we push them to the point of practically stalking them. We exert so much wasted energy trying to help them build their business, ultimately it just pisses us off.

You also know you don’t have to do that, right? Stop babying your downline, or business partners as I like to call them. Nobody wins in this scenario.
