If you have a business, is your website mobile friendly? The technical term is “responsive” meaning if you view it from a smartphone, will it be visually readable or is the text so small you’re squinting your eyes? If your site isn’t responsive, why not?

Here’s why it’s so important: According to Google, more than 80% of us access the Internet from our phones. In fact, Entrepreneur Magazine echoes that with numbers, stating over a billion people access the Internet from a mobile device. You may be reading this from your smartphone right now.

So if the majority of us are within close reach of our phones and if your website isn’t responsive, think of how much business you could potentially be losing. It’s worth getting that fixed.

Here is a way to check if your site is responsive and if not, how to fix it for free. Check it out here.

Stop Babying Your Downline

By Coach Roger
By Coach Roger If you’re in a network marketing deal you know what happens when you recruit people, right? Some go nuts and start building their business, others waffle about and do nothing. In fact, most people do nothing. So what do some of us do? We call them, we encourage them, we push them to the point of practically stalking them. We exert so much wasted energy trying to help them build their business, ultimately it just pisses us off. You also know you don’t have to do that, right? Stop babying your downline, or business partners as I like to call them. Nobody wins in this scenario. Continue reading “Stop Babying Your Downline”

After Over 130 Years, AVON is Still Calling

By Coach Roger
By Coach Roger Whether the economy is booming or slow, particularly in the last 17 years, it hasn’t affected powerhouse MLM Avon a bit. In fact, according to the New York Times, sales in 2009 were estimated at well over $10 Billion, double what it was in 2000. “Just because someone is on a tight budget,” says Amy Robinson, a spokeswoman for the Direct Selling Association, “doesn’t mean she’s stopped buying her foundation.” Continue reading “After Over 130 Years, AVON is Still Calling”

If You’re Marketing Using Twitter, Stop!

By Coach Roger
By Coach Roger According Josh Steimle of MWI, a digital marketing agency, there are 5 marketing initiatives you should stop right now because this year they’re going to die a slow death. Here is a summary of the Top 5 digital marketing trends and the reasons why he thinks they will die in 2017.
In summary:
  1. Pop Up Ads
Reason: Google has data that shows people don’t like them and now boosts site owner rankings if they remove them.
  1. Fake Reviews
Reason: Writing fake reviews is in itself an industry and companies hire people to write them. However, today’s online user is more savvy and, for the most part, can differentiate between what’s real and what isn’t. Amazon launched lawsuits against companies for publishing fake reviews. FIVE Critical Points To Help Your MLM Business

By Coach Roger
By Coach Roger I was having a lively chat with a business partner the other day and he asked if being a network marketer meant he was a sales person. He was a little perplexed by my answer. To break it down, I listed five critical points everyone should know to help build an mlm business:
  • You Are A Leader
The short answer to him was ‘Yes’ he is in sales. First and foremost, sales people are leaders and the world needs good leaders. It’s also one of the highest paid professions. People WANT to be led because given the choice of work vs. the path of least resistance, that path will always win; it’s easier to follow than to lead, so be different. 21st Century Tactics
By Coach Roger If you’ve been holding off on using the latest marketing methods, why is that? Maybe it’s time to consider incorporating 21st Century initiatives into your business. Surprisingly, some of the old practices in network marketing are still being taught today like, go after your warm market, meet in doughnut shops or approach strangers in malls – that last one is nuts! Like some of you, I’m an ‘old dog’ per se, but I realized some time ago that while old school tactics may still work (which is why it’s still taught), it’s such an archaic way of doing business; today’s progressive marketers would never dream of using such tactics. However, that’s not to say traditional methods don’t work, they do but there is a finite number of people you can approach that way. As you launch your network marketing business, there are a few things you must know before spending your hard-earned marketing dollars. Working from Home No Longer A Secret Society

By Coach Roger

The Times They Are A Changin’

By Coach Roger Nice pic, eh? Fyi, that’s not me lol but it highlights the fact that just 10 years ago, 4% of the US labor force –  meaning millions of people – worked from home, some of them in their boxers like this guy. That number today has significantly gone up. I remember when I first began calling business owners wanting them to check out a website and asking if they were “online”, which in 2007-2008 was effectively a new term. The reactions I would get would be “What’s that?” or “What the hell does that mean?” Continue reading “Working from Home No Longer A Secret Society”
